The Houston Temple is doing stake temple weeks now, and today was my ward's assigned day this week to "fill the temple." Amanda, Dave, and I skipped school, left Katy at 6:30 this morning, and got to the temple by 7:45 AM. We did baptisms and confirmations for an hour, then the 9:00 session, then sealings and initiatories until a lunch break at 12:00. By 2:00, we were back to sessions and did 3 in a row!!! Amanda and I were beyond exhausted by then, so we decided to head home. It was 8 PM. Dave wanted to stay, so I drove Dave's car home. He's still at the temple. I want to go to bed but I need to wait up for him.
Tomorrow is "Time Out for Women" in The Woodlands, so I will have another spiritual high from that.
